Margečan Watermill

The watermill in Margečan is a replica of traditional watermills that were once built in this region. The watermill has become a tourist attraction, a landmark that many eagerly photograph and which makes Margečan recognizable. It was built next to the old branch of the Bednja river. The watermill is a project of the Margečan association Margareta, which has invested hundreds of hours of voluntary work into its construction. 

The local attraction has become a gathering place for association members, where meetings of the local council and other social gatherings are held.
