Prigorec

Prigorec is a picturesque place located above Ivanec, and at the foot of Ivančica. Around 460 residents live in Prigorec. Many hikers and excursionists pass through Prigorec on their way to the peak of Ivančica. At the beginning of Prigorec, and after the water mill, there is an intersection that is important if you are planning to go to Ivanščica. If you want to go to the rest area Žgano vino, turn right. Žgano vino is the starting point for the hiking trails Over Mrzljak and Over Konja, and a dirt road leads further to the peak of Ivanščica.

If you want to go to the Repikovec parking lot, turn left at the intersection. The Repikovec parking lot is the starting point if you want to hike to the peak of Ivanščica via the trails Over Prekrižje and Over Pionira. Also, with a leisurely walk on the dirt road, you can reach the Šumi Rest Area.

On the hill above Prigorec, there is the chapel of St. Spirit. The chapel is visible from afar and is a recognizable landmark of the Ivanec area.
