At Salinovec, on Sunday, August 4th, the 38th Village Games of old sports will be held. It is a fun event where teams compete in various disciplines such as standing long jump, stilts walking, plow assembly, stick pulling, pole climbing, basket carrying on the head, sack race, donkey riding, bull riding, stone throwing from the shoulder, hanging bowling for women, rope pulling for men, and village games musicians.

The event is organized by the Salinovec Society for Sports Recreation.

09:30 - 10:00 Parade and ceremonial opening of the games
10:00 - 13:00 Competition
13:00 - 14:30 Lunch and presentation of old crafts and customs
14:30 - 17:30 Continuation of competition
17:30 - 19:00 Announcement of results and closing of the games
19:00 - 24:00 Cultural entertainment program with Activ band performance

The competition will take place on the grass field near the elementary school in Salinovec.
