On Saturday, August 10, the Citizens' Association Margareta from Margečan is organizing a program "Evening under the stars". On that occasion, all interested parties will start in a procession for an evening ascent towards the remains of the mysterious fortress Gradišče, on the hill Cukovec near Margečan. The departure is at 7 pm from the meadow near the Hunting Lodge "Forest Rabbit", and the ascent, which lasts about 20 minutes, is not physically demanding. 

Špancirfest is a popular festival held every year in Varaždin, one of the most beautiful baroque cities in Croatia. The festival lasts for ten days at the end of August and beginning of September, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from all over Croatia and abroad.

In Salinovac, on Sunday, August 4th, the 38th Village Games of old sports will be held. It is a fun event where teams compete in various disciplines such as standing long jump, stilt walking, plow assembly, stick pulling, pole climbing, carrying a basket on the head, sack race, stone shoulder throw, hanging bowling for women, rope pulling for men, and rural musicians.
